RING-TYPE GRINDSTONE WITH NUTS
|
FITS EASILY AND
GRINDS SAFELY!
|
FEATURES
|
Easy mounting : It can
bolted to the base ring by tightening nuts.
Lightweight : Light in
weight for easy handling.
Economical : Unlike glued
types, it has no set-in loss.
Safety : Bolted rather
than glued, it is free of center wobbling for safe grinding.
|
APPLICATION
|
In addition to sharpening edged tools
such as veneer and slicer knives, it can be used in place of ordinary
ring-, cup-, and single-dent-type grindstones.
|
MOUNTING PROCEDURES
|

|

|

|
¨ç Wipe off
dust and soil from the base ring and then fit it to
the flange.
|
¨èMount the
grindstone to the base ring. Be careful that no foreign
matter is caught between the grindstone and the base
ring.
|
¨é Make sure
that grindstone is secured to the base ring with bolts
evenly tightened and that it does not wobble.
|
|
CAUTIONS ON HANDLING
|
Be sure to use bolts provided
by us.
Make sure that no foreign
matter is caught between the grindstone and the base ring.
Alternately tighten bolts
in a symmetrical position. Be sure to tighten them evenly.
Since the grindstone itself
is made of the same material used for fabricating other types
of Takakura grindstone, handle it with care.
The grindstone can be used
until it wears to the edge of the coated area. Under no circumstances
is the coated area to be used for grinding.

HI-LAP(A) A alumina
abrasive powder, HI-LAP(A) is a dark brown crystal that
contains a little titan, silica etc. It has strength
and it is widely used.
|
|

WHITE HI-LAP(WA) Extremely
pure alumina abrasive powder, WHITE HI-LAP(WA) is a
white crystal. In comparison with HI-LAP(A), it has
more purity and a little brittleness.
|
|

TAKAMIJIN
TAKAMIJIN is a good shaped milk-white
abrasive powder obtained by grinding and classifying
markedly hard alumina oxide grain that was burned with
high temperature (more than 1300C). It is less harder
than alumina abrasive powder. It has the smallest particle(average:2.5¥ì).
|
|

BLACK HI-LAP(C) A black
crystal. In comparison with alumina abrasive powder,
it has more hardness and brittleness. It has been used
for bone, glass and other non-metal materials grinding.
|
|

GREEN HI-LAP(GC) Extremely
pure silicon carbide abrasive powder. A green crystal.
In comparison with BLACKHI-LAP(C), it has more hardness,
brittleness and high-heat conductivity.

Applications
Kinds |
Applications |
HI-LAP |
It has been
used for general metal grinding. Especially good for
high-tensile materials. It is widely used for bearing
balls, steel balls, optical lenses grinding. |
WHITE
HI-LAP |
It is used
for finish-grinding of implement-steels and special
steels. And it is also used for stainless steels grinding
with grind-belts or buffs. For general cutlery grinding
as well. |
TAKAMIJIN |
Because of
it's low hardness and ball shape, it makes less damages
on the materials. it exhibits superior performance in
lustrous finishing. Good for bearing balls, optical
lenses grinding. |
BLACK
HI-LAP |
Good for
grinding low tensile materials, such as glass, optical
lenses, quartz, etc. It is used for finish-grinding
of stones and pottery. |
CREEN HI-LAP |
It has the
highest hardness, brittleness and heat conductive. It
is good for grinding of heat-dislike materials, such
as super-hard materials, quartz, optical lenses, coils,
etc. |
